Comparison

Attribi and Ruler Analytics, compared honestly

Ruler Analytics is the closest thing in this comparison to what Attribi does: match a website journey to a deal in the CRM, then send the revenue back out to the ad platforms. Because the shapes are similar, the differences are specific rather than sweeping, and two of them go their way. Everything below comes from their own public pages, with the date each was checked.

Attribi and Ruler Analytics, row by row

Only rows we could verify for both products are here. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a question, the row is left out rather than guessed at.

Where Ruler Analytics is the stronger choice

Written from their own published material. If one of these is your situation, buy theirs.

You buy Microsoft Ads and need return on that spend

Ruler markets a Microsoft Ads integration under a heading that reads "Get a true ROAS" and feeds CRM-closed revenue back into Microsoft using the Microsoft Click ID. Attribi uploads conversions to Microsoft, but it does not import Microsoft cost data, so Attribi cannot show you Microsoft cost per lead or return on ad spend at all. That is a real gap on our side and it is already stated on our Microsoft Ads page. If Microsoft is a meaningful part of your budget, Ruler is the better tool today.

Your leads arrive by phone

Ruler includes tracking phone numbers matched back to campaigns and keywords as a native part of its offline conversion story. Attribi has no call tracking of any kind. For a business where the conversion is a phone call, that is not a detail, it is the conversion.

You want someone to set it up with you

Every Ruler plan includes a dedicated customer success manager and what they call white-glove onboarding, and their documented process starts with a welcome call and an onboarding manager. Attribi is self-serve by design. If you would rather be walked through it than read a setup guide, that is a genuine reason to choose them.

You need the data in your warehouse or BI tool

Ruler lists Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI and Domo alongside BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redshift and SQL Server. Attribi has no public API, so a customer cannot read their own attribution data programmatically today. A technical team that wants to model this data elsewhere will hit that wall with us and not with them.

What each one costs

Ruler Analytics

Ruler publishes four tiers priced by monthly website visits: $400, $668, $1,326 and $2,000+ per month, with about 10% off for annual billing. Their own page calls these figures indicative and says pricing scales with data and integration requirements, so treat the entry tier as a floor rather than a quote.

Attribi

Attribi publishes no price. There is a free plan you can start without a card or a call, and paid pricing is not on the site.

What moving actually involves

The two products need the same two things: a script on the site and a connection to the CRM where deals are marked won. Attribi does not import history from Ruler, so journeys start when the script goes live, and running both for a month is the normal way to compare them. Attribi creates its 16 attribution fields on HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho itself, so there is no field setup to do by hand on those four.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Ruler Analytics cost?

Their published tiers are $400, $668, $1,326 and $2,000+ per month, banded by monthly website visits, with roughly 10% off annual billing. Ruler describes these prices as indicative and says they scale with data and integration requirements, so the published number is a starting point. Check their pricing page for the current figures.

Does Ruler push conversions to every ad platform it lists?

We verified two: Microsoft Ads, where their documentation describes sending offline revenue back using the Microsoft Click ID, and Google Ads, which their HubSpot integration page names as a destination for revenue data. Their integrations index also lists Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and others, but it does not say which direction data flows for each, and we did not verify those individually. We make no claim about them.

Can Attribi show Microsoft Ads ROAS?

No. Attribi uploads qualified and closed-won conversions to Microsoft Ads, but it does not import Microsoft cost data, so there is no Microsoft cost per lead and no return on ad spend anywhere in the product. Every other connected ad platform reports spend daily. This is on our roadmap and it is stated as a gap on our Microsoft Ads page rather than hidden.

Does Attribi do call tracking?

No. There are no tracking phone numbers and no call attribution in Attribi. Calls can reach it only as a CRM record, so a call becomes attributable once someone logs it as a lead or a deal in the CRM Attribi is connected to. If most of your conversions happen on the phone before any record exists, this is the wrong tool.

What does Attribi do that Ruler does not?

Attribi uploads CRM-verified conversions to six ad platforms from one place: Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft and Snapchat. No vendor we researched documents native conversion push to all six. It also creates the attribution fields inside HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho programmatically, so your salespeople see the source on the record they already work in without an admin building fields first.
